Meet Zoey

Co-Founder | Property Manager | Entrepreneur

Zoey is the co-founder of Easy Property Management and the driving force behind the business's property, accommodation, and customer service operations.

Originally from Hunan Province in China, Zoey has called Scotland home for 20 years. Her journey is one of determination, hard work, and continuous growth, combining the values of her Chinese heritage with the opportunities and experiences she has embraced in Scotland.

With a Diploma in Public Service in Interpreting in both health and Scottish law, Zoey has worked within the City council and NHS as a professional interpreter for the past 19 years, supporting patients, families, and healthcare professionals by breaking down language barriers and helping people communicate with clarity, confidence, and dignity. Through this role, she has developed exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the importance of trust, empathy, and professionalism.

Alongside her NHS career, Zoey has successfully built and managed a number of business ventures. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's Degree in Business, providing a strong foundation in communication, leadership, strategic thinking, and customer service.

Property and hospitality have been at the heart of Zoey's entrepreneurial journey for many years. She has been managing properties for over 16 years and has spent the last 4 years successfully operating Short term Holiday Lets, developing extensive experience in guest relations, property presentation, maintenance coordination, bookings, compliance, and day-to-day property management.

Her passion for business also led to the creation of Maple Tree Scotland, a brand she has successfully built and managed for over 12 years. Through this venture, she has developed valuable experience in retail, marketing, customer engagement, supplier relationships, and business development.

As co-founder of Easy Property Management, Zoey brings a practical, hands-on approach to every property under management. She understands that every property represents someone's investment, hard work, and future plans. Her goal is to ensure landlords have complete confidence that their properties are being cared for professionally, while tenants receive a responsive and positive experience throughout their tenancy.

Beyond her professional life, Zoey is passionate about travel, family, martial arts, and community involvement. She takes great pride in her Chinese heritage and enjoys sharing Chinese culture and traditions while embracing the diversity and opportunities that life in Scotland has provided.

Her ability to bridge cultures, communicate effectively, and build meaningful relationships allows her to connect with people from all backgrounds. Whether working with landlords, tenants, contractors, or business partners, she believes that successful relationships are built on trust, respect, honesty, and communication.

Meet Paul

Co-Founder | Property Manager | Registered Nurse | Entrepreneur

Paul is the co-founder of Easy Property Management and brings a unique combination of healthcare, business, leadership, and property experience to the company.

Originally from Ireland, Paul spent 22 years working within his family's print business before embarking on a completely new career path. Driven by a desire to help others and make a meaningful difference, he returned to education later in life and began a journey that would eventually lead him into nursing.

Returned to education at the age of 40 to become a Registered Nurse, Paul understands first-hand the value of determination, resilience, and lifelong learning. Over the past decade he has worked within the NHS, primarily in neurological care, supporting patients and families through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Working on the frontline has strengthened his commitment to compassion, professionalism, communication, and service—qualities that continue to influence everything he does today.

Alongside his nursing career, Paul developed a strong interest in Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic wellbeing. Having practised Chinese martial arts for more than 30 years, he became fascinated by the philosophy, discipline, and health benefits associated with Chinese medicine. This passion led him to establish Serenity Acupuncture and Naturopathic Wellness Centre in 2018, where he combines modern healthcare knowledge with traditional Chinese approaches to health and wellbeing.

Property has also been an important part of Paul's journey. Having experience managing rental properties in Ireland and working alongside Zoey in accommodation and property ventures, he understands the responsibilities and challenges faced by landlords. He recognises that every property represents years of hard work, sacrifice, and investment, and believes property management should be built on trust, communication, and attention to detail.

Paul's approach to business and life has been shaped by both success and adversity. Throughout his journey he has experienced personal loss, significant challenges, and the process of rebuilding and reinventing himself. These experiences taught him that resilience is not simply about overcoming obstacles—it is about continuing to move forward with purpose, even when circumstances are difficult.

This philosophy forms the foundation of Shift to Shore, a personal mission and charitable initiative that goes far beyond an English Channel swim.

Shift to Shore was born through loss, adversity, frontline healthcare, reinvention, and a belief that no matter what life throws at you, it is never too late to begin again.

From losing his mother at a young age, to rebuilding his life, returning to education at 40, and serving on the frontline in neurological care, every chapter has contributed to a mission focused on resilience, service, leadership, and helping others realise their potential.

For Paul, every early morning, every night shift, every training session, and every challenge carries a purpose greater than the task itself.
